A two-day foundation programme combining dermal filler education with upper-face assessment and prescribing responsibilities.

Entry requirements

Appropriately qualified, registered healthcare professionals beginning injectables training. Evidence of professional registration and appropriate insurance is required.

Curriculum

Facial anatomy; skin and soft tissue; whole-face and muscle assessment; infection prevention; consultation and consent; product storage and selection; mapping; techniques; aftercare; documentation; complication recognition and management, including vascular occlusion.

Practical learning and assessment

Supervised practical training and competency assessment cover basic lip enhancement, perioral lines, nasolabial folds, marionette lines and the three principal upper-face areas. Prescriber responsibilities and patient-specific assessment are included.
